Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend Edwene Gaines’ “Prosperity Plus” Workshop. She was presenting at a Religious Science church in Riverside on a Sunday afternoon.
Because I consider her to be one of my teachers, as well as a dear friend, I made a mad dash up Interstate 15 after church, and arrived there just before the start of the workshop.
During the workshop, she shared the story of her recent trip to Brazil, where she was traveling to spend time with a spiritual healer named John of God. She boarded the plane in Atlanta, and noticed that even though it was close to departure time, there was no one in the seat next to her. (Edwene has a fabulous prosperity consciousness,
and only flies first class, so there was only one person next to her.)
The person finally arrived, the door was closed, and the plane took off.
In conversation with the woman next to her, Edwene found that they were both traveling to meet with John of God. Interesting. But the story doesn’t end there, because the woman was Susan Casey, one of the senior editors for
The Oprah Magazine. It turns out they were working on an issue all about miracles, and Edwene shared her
experience of having a brain aneurysm healed.
The bottom line is that you can read all about Edwene’s experience, (including mention of her wonderful book, The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity) as well as John of God, in the December issue of The Oprah Magazine, starting on page 220. So the gazillion people who read Oprah’s magazine now know something about Edwene, and are aware of the title of her book.
Strange coincidence? Absolutely NOT. When we stay in those feelings, or vibrations, of love, excitement, anticipation and joy, the most amazing things happen. Our good “crowds itself against us” as Ernest Holmes said.
